Lucy-Liu

Lucy Liu (born Lucy Liu) is an American voice actor, director producer and vocalist. As an intelligent and attractive actress, she serves as a role model to many Asian actors working in Hollywood that want to be successful. The actress gained notoriety after numerous popular roles in shows. The most notable was the Ally McBeal series, where she portrayed Ling Woo the villainous character. After her fame, she got major part on the shows Shanghai Noon (1998) and Charlie's Angels (2000). She gave a stellar performance in the role of Japanese O-Ren, a gangster from Japan (Quentin Tarantino) in Kill Bill Volume 1 by Quentin Tarantino. During this time she was the main character in several flops on the box-office like Rise: Blood Hunter. Then, she was able to play characters that were prominent in animation films such as Kung Fu Panda. Mia Mason from Cashmere Mafia was a small role that didn't have any impact. An appearance in the critically-acclaimed police drama Southland allowed her to regain her status as an actress of note. Liu picks her roles with utmost care in order to ensure she is not typecast in a competitive industry. Liu is also an accomplished artist who has not been constrained by her ethnicity.
